Every summer we get excited for the 24th of July when our family spends a week at Ideal Beach Bear Lake. We rent a condo from the Dattages and play all week. This all started from Grandma Meyer who used to bring my mom and her sisters over every summer when they were kids and it's been a tradition every year. This year grandma wasn't there because she passed away on the 26th of July 2007. She was still water skiing about 10 years ago and was a wicked tennis player too. When we were little and some of the grandkids would ride with her she would give a quarter to the first person who saw the lake. On the way home we had to stop for a famous rasberry shake. We miss her and but love to go to Bear Lake for the fun memories that we share.
Other favorite things we love to do at Bear Lake are jet ski, boating, mini golf and play on the beach. We spend hours on tubes in the lake. At night we have way good meals as we take turns cooking a meal during the week. Before we go to bed we have to have a good game of cards. This year it was Gin or Apples to Apples. Spencer just moved to Gillette Wyoming so he couldn't come. We missed him swimming with kids in the lake. Cole just started a new job in Denver, so he had to stay home, but we were glad Mindy came and brought the kids for a couple of days. Kylie had a broken leg this year so she was pushed around in her wheel chair (and dumped a couple of times.) We had so much fun and after nine days I wasn't ready to come home. Thanks mom and dad for the fun vacation and many memories that we have.
Me and the girls on the boat. We love to go for rides and Uncle Wayne is so good to take us all tubing, skiing or just out in the middle of the lake for a swim.
Camry on the tube with her cousin Kailey. Camry is a little fearless the last couple of years. She loves to take on big waves and go fast. You can hear her giggling and screaming from the boat. Jaiden likes to go for nice smooth rides.
What cute cousins. These are all the grandkids (12 in all) and we have so much fun. We have to laugh at Rylie in the front who loves to smile all the time except when we want a picture, then she just wants mom. It was so fun for all the cousins to get together. Even Peyton and Lincoln made it from Denver.
Mom and Dad playing golf. Each year we usually get in a round of mimi golf at Ideal Beach. We even got dad in on this one. Jamie and Kade and mom beat me and dad, so guess who had to cook lunch that day....yep that's me.

I'm so glad that I got to see you! I'm glad that you came to Jerons game so we could visit more. You are doing so good with updating your blog. I love knowing what you're up to. Your Bear Lake trip looked like so much fun! It's the best to have family traditions like that. That's a wonderful way to remember your grandma. I'm sure she was there with all of you in spirit joining in on the fun!
Oh man did we have fun! We only wish that we could have been there for longer. We are home now and missing everyone for sure! I LOVE the pics! Send me your best one would ya?
