Jaiden eating a 'spudnut' that Aunt Tara made for everyone after playing in the snow. This was a recipe from my Grandma Smith and it brings back lots of fun memories. Elisa, Spencer and I can remember that she would let us help her make 'spudnuts and then eat all the donught holes that we wanted. Grandma would then put them in a wagon for us to deliver on our way home. Fun memories and Yummy! Hopefully we can keep this tradition going for our kids.
Here is the spudnut maker herself.
... and lots of help.
Uncle Kade is nice enough to take the kids in the toboggan behind his snowmobile or take them to the top of the hill to sled down. Then he let me drive and I dumped him from the toboggan (and didn't even know it)and Tara from the snowmobile. We were laughing so hard.

As you can tell we love the snow. Tara and I went snowshoeing last week and its so fun. The next week we went out to the Skinners and the kids got to snowboard and sled down their hill. The week before, we went sledding with Cole and Mindy in the dark. The girls thought it was great because when I caught up to them, Cole and Mindy were hiking up the hill pulling all four kids. I swear my kids would never come in and get warm unless I made them.
As I mentioned earlier, Tara and I were snowshoeing and when we got back Jaiden told me that her and Camry, Taylor and Kylie said a little prayer for us because they were scared. A couple of months ago grandpa had a baby cougar in his hay shed and so they were worried that something was going to happen to us because we went snowshoeing up in the mountains.
I thought that was so sweet.

Way cute post! Especially of the spudnut maker. That was really fun and we will definately have to make it a tradition. Let me know when you are ready to snow shoe again.
