Christmas Eve 2010
Our Christmas Eve tradition has always been to go to Grandma and Grandpa Smith's house for the evening. Grandma makes a beautiful meal on her best china and sets up her table that now goes the length of her dining and living room area. After dinner the kids love to dress up and play out the Nativity scene while grandma reads the story of baby Jesus birth. This year Camry was an Angel and Jaiden a Wiseman. Bode and Oakley were both baby Jesus. (twins). Jaiden and Cam had practiced their Christmas Piano songs to play for every one.
Bode and Oakley spent the night entertaining us by trying to climb in the fireplace.
After dinner we usually exchange gifts and this year Grandma and Grandpa Smith gave the kids a game and matching Moose PJ's. We all received a honey pot and last bit of Meyer honey from Meyer Honey Co.
Right before bedtime we head home to set out cookies (Thanks for making those Tara) for Santa and of course the reindeer have to have their carrots.
