School Spelling Bee
Jaiden was in the Providence school SPELLING BEE and she did so good. 3 days before she almost backed out because she was so scared. She really didn't want to do it in the first place but when she kept winning her class spelling bees, I told her she better do it. I didn't get too close to take a picture because she was almost looking sick and I didn't want to ruin her concentration. Her class made posters for her and her friend Mary that said 'Jaiden and Mary rock!' . Tara and Rylie came to watch too. She didn't care if she got out, just not on the first round and she didn't, she kept going to the 5th round and took 5th place. (she was the only fourth grader standing). The word she got out on was -hydraulic -. I was so proud of her. And that's why I like to call her smartie pants.

Providence Elementary's 4th grade ski trip to 'the Beav'. It was a beautiful day, and for only having gone 2 times, Jaiden was doing great. We even took up on Marges Triple.
She decided that she like me teaching her instead of going with the class. So we just hung out together most of the day and had some fun on our own.

Game On
So we have some new entertainment around our house. Uncle Spencer moved to Gillette and he's getting married so he gave us his basketball hoop! The girls were beyond excited when he showed up to put it together . Then Jaiden thought she would 'take him on'. I'm not sure who won. But the girls love the hoop, so thanks Uncle Spence. We love it.

Look what new pajamas can do.
What started out as "Mom, can we lay in your bed?" turned into ...... this.
GO AGGIES!
Camry and her friends Jessa and Brinlee performed at the USU Aggie basketball game this week. It was so to watch them cheer their little hearts out. Jaiden and I went to watch with Nicole and Tallie. (Thanks for the tickets Nicole). Since USU is where I graduated from, both my girls say they want to be Aggies too!

Dad's 60th Birthday Party
Well My dad turned 60 this year. Hard to believe. Mom decided to throw him a "50's Diner Party." We made old fashioned hamburgers, homemade fries, and I was in charge of the milkshakes. (and they were dang good I might add). The pictures are hilarious. The girls in their scarfs, big hair and capris and the boys in their t-shirts, greased up hair and cool shades. Not to mention the combs in their back pockets. But my favorite is mom and dad and Spencer and Laura in their T-bird and pink lady jackets. This is probably the only time I have seen my parents dress up, so I snapped some great pictures.
