Baptism Day

One proud mom.
Grandma and Grandpa Smith, Jaiden and Camry

Camry was baptized on Dec. 5th by her Grandpa Smith and confirmed by her Grandpa Roper.

Two of Camry's friends were also being baptized the same day. (Kimi and Emily).

Camry and I went dress shopping, and she had her eye on this dress the whole time. She tried on about twenty but but was determined that this was the one. She looked so beautiful.

We had cake and ice cream with friends and family after the baptism and then a luncheon at our house.

Turning Eight

Camry turned EIGHT this year. She took 3 of her closest friends for pizza and to the FUN PARK . Olivia, Jessa and Brinlee. These 4 are in the same school class for the second year in a row and have become best of friends. At the fun park they played in the soft play and then used tokens to win themselves some prizes.

Camry couldn't wait to turn eight to get her ears pierced and get baptized.

Thunderfoot Soccer Awards Night

Jaiden has been playing on a new team called Thunderfoot and loves it. She has some great friends and loves every thing about soccer. She must get that from her mom.

Jaiden and Tayla have been buddies and teammates for about five years.

Halloween

This year Camry dressed as a pretty pink cowgirl with rhinestones and boots and the whole works. Jaiden borrowed this outfit from her cousin Kailey and wanted to be a vampire with blood and vampire teeth. We hit the school carvival for a little while and then our neighborhood which has lots of homes and tons of kids.

Fixing the Creek

Over the last couple of years the creek behind our home has started to wash away with the high water levels. Lucky for me I have the greatest friends, family, Home Teachers and neighbors who donated their time to help me secure the bank so this fall we won't have a flood. There were people from our neighborhood who I didn't even know who showed up to help. Thanks so much everyone!

Jaiden and Cam made sure there were donuts and juice on hand.

This is my dad right in the middle of the creek loading sandbags.

Part 2 of this process involved getting a crane and these cement blocks. Dad stood on one side of the creek and signaled to the crane driver while Danny and Randy were on the other side droppping in the barriers.
