Denver

Got to spend a couple of days with Cole, Mindya dn the rest of their kids in Denver while Iwas there attending a convention.  They gave me a tour of the city, the ball fields, then we went to the Spaghetti Factory where the kids got some fun balloons.  That night we went bowling.  The kids were so tired they were practically bowling in their sleep.    It was so fun to spend some time with them and see their home.

Cousin time

 Camry, Morgan and Jaiden at Ryans Place Park.  Peyton and Lincoln were running wild in the park playing ninjas and didn't want to stop for a picture.    It was fun to get to spend some one on one time with our Smith cousins for a few days while Cole and Mindy were in Europe.  We sure had a lot of laughs. 

Honeymoon

 Our honeymoon getaway to Midway.  Jeff planned our whole honeymoon.  Part of it was still a surprise, but he has a hard time keeping a surprise and ends up spilling the beans.  Our first night we went to Salt Lake and stayed at the Peery Hotel.  It was kind of an older restored hotel with a cool grande staircase in the lobby.  Jeff surprised me with a carriage ride waiting outside.  It was so sweet and fun to cruise around the city and see it in slow motion.  We went to dinner at Market Street Grill that night.


The next day we went to the outlets and shopped for awhile in Park City, then to our Bed and Breakfast in Midway.  I was surprised with a trail of roses on the carpet when we checked into our room, long with a waterfall shower.    The picture above shows the old Mill and there were gardens and trails all around to take walks.  We went to dinner in Heber that night and for breakfast (because we were honeymooners) we got breakfast in bed.  It was such a fun realxing weekend that we both needed. 

 This was a picture of the reservoir at the B& B.  At night this gazebo and the board walk light up.  We took a moonlight canoe ride in the dark which was so peaceful and relaxing. 

Our last morning of the honeymoon we went to Temple Square and took a tour of the Convention Center and its beautiful gardens.  Thanks hun for the fun honeymoon getaway. 

Cache Cup 2nd place

                    Camry's new team the Titans took second place at the Cache Cup this summer. 

Her cute team:  Kennadi, Olivia, Aspen, Sammy, Alex, Bria, Raymer, Kacee,  Coach Aaron, Camry, Eliza, Karlee B., Karley & Brylie.

                         Jaiden got really daring this year and we couldnt get her off the tube. 

               It was a windy day but Jeff, Daniel and Garrett were determined to stay on. 

 Camry and Kennadi have had so much fun the last few years.  It's fun to re-connect with cousins each year.

Hogle Zoo/City Creek

                       Fun day at the Hogle Zoo.   The night before, we went shopping at the new City Creek Mall and stayed the night at the Red Lion Hotel and went swimming in the pool.  It was our first get away for the summer. 

         Our favorite was the Polar Bear.  He was a total show off and was loving all the attention.
