Cache Valley Soccer Cup

Going to the Coaches vs. Ref's game and bbq at the Cache Valley Cup.  We had nine games in 4 days. That's a lot of soccer.  Good thing mom is a big fan of soccer too. 

Way to go STORM!  2nd place in the silver division.  Coaches:  Mike Nelson and Megan Baker.

Random Summer Fun

Camry was playing in the back of the car while I was outside.  She got tired and pulled a blanket over her and fell asleep.  It was about eleven pm and she said she was just 'Camping Out'.  She made me promise to wake her up and not let her sleep there all night, 

Picnic in the room since it rained the every day for the first month of June.  We don't let a little rain spoil our fun.

So it wasn't all fun and play.  Jeff changed my tires for me in 90 degree weather.  Check out his hair do in the back ground.

....and yes I was spoiled with more beautiful flowers.  The girls got their own carnations too. 

Spring Creek Flood

2011- We had a flood that came from Spring Creek right into our back yard. After year of just a small stream, we couldnt have imagined the amount of water that would come down from the mountains in the middle of July. Neighbors, friends and family came and sandbagged and helped pump water out of basements. Luckily my basement didn't flood. Even with four foot retaining walls that we put in the year before, we still had water coming over into the yard because of the build up of rocks raising the bottom of the creek even higher.
I was very greatful for everyones help. Jeff came up for the weekend and got put to work all weekend.

I eventually gave in and let them put in a back hoe in my back yard to pull out the fence and trees that were blocking the water.

4th of July

Fourth of July weekend turned out to be a very fun and busy weekend.  Jeff came up and took me and the girls to the Diamond Rio concert and Stadium Fireworks.  We went to the Cache Valley Cruise-In, sandbagged the creek behind my house that was flooding, had a cook out with my family, visited Jeff's family,watched neighborhood fireworks and went to the parade on Monday morning.

So after the cook out as we were cleaning up I received a cupcake in my face from Jeff, so I held him while Camry smashed one in his face.  So he smeared some frosting on both of the girls.  We were pretty much all covered.
