Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day! Wow, I'm a little late getting this post out. The time sure flies. I had heard the girls talking about making me breakfast in the morning, but I figured they would sleep in if I didn't wake them up. But guess who slept in and didn't even hear a peep until they carried this adorable little breakfast in with huge proud smiles. I have to say I was pretty impressed. They even cut up my strawberries. Mothers Day always reminds me how lucky I am to be a mom. I know I am so blessed. I don't think a day goes by that I don't get about 10 hugs and an I LOVE YOU!, or find a little sticky note somewhere that says I love you mom! My girls are always so sweet to me and I tell them all the time that they will never know how much I love them until they have kids of their own. Then they will understand. I also know how blessed I am to have a wonderful mother myself. As I'm busy doing things for my kids I always wonder how did my mom do it with six kids. She always seemed to find away. Now she is still as supportive as ever, driving from town to town trying catch all the grandkids soccer games, and hosting us when we just show up to stay, and throwing together a cookout just to keep us all coming up.
Love ya mom!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! Around Easter time we had birds building a nest in the wreath on my front door. The next morning when I was going to take it down there was three baby robin eggs.So I didn't dare move it. They look like mini-cadbury eggs.

You can tell its Spring when you have ducks come waddling up your back yard from the creek. My girls run to get bread like we are at first dam.

Checking out the loot from the Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Granpa Smith's.

Grandma and the girls.

Will someone just say GO!

Camry holding our new little cousin Oakley

I finally got the girls new Easter baskets. They haven't had new ones since they were like two and four. My friend Amelia cut out their names in vinyl for me to put on these cute buckets.
Easter dinner. Mom always goes to so much work making her potato salad ham and homemade rolls which are a family favorite.
The girls got their own table.
If you look close, mom even folded the napkins to look like bunnies.

Birthday Girl!

Double Digits! My little girl just turned 10 and I'm not sure what to think about that. But I guess I don't have a choice. Like it or not she is growing up and although I miss her being my little baby she has been so fun to watch her grow into a little lady.

Jaidens friends came over at 8:00 in the morning and sang Happy Birthday to her and brought her a box of ding-dongs. This was her new birthday outfit and new tennis shoes, and Nintendo DSI.

Opening presents from her friends. Yes its alot more make-up, a cute bag and money from her friends.

Jaidens friends Madison and Elise. These are her friends that are planning a Disneyland trip together.

What is a party without NACHOS!

Ice Skating at the Eccles Ice Center in North Logan. Jaiden is a pretty sweet sister to invite her little sister Camry to go with.

Skating with friends.

Making wishes!

These are her 2 friends Jeron and Landon that crashed the party. When they came to the door, all the girls screamed and ran. They even brought her some money and a card.

A soccer ball cake for my soccer freak. Jaiden is a soccer nut. She plays competitive soccer and loves it, so I knew she would love this cake.

My cute neighbor Jessica had this ball cake mold that she let me use. She had just made her son the cutest caterpillar. So I thought it would be pretty easy except I started to frost it when I got home around 10:30 pm and was on some pain medication. So I guess it didn't turn out too bad.

10 Things I love about Jaiden!
1. Her little giggle. It makes everyone laugh.
2. Her positive attitude and effort that she gives everything.
3. She likes sports like me, so we are usually playing some kind of ball together.
4. How at ten years old she still loves to cuddle.
5. What a sweet big sister she is to Camry and watching them become best of friends.
6. When she dances. She loves hip hop like dancing and does quite the moves at home.
7. Her zest for life. The girl never sits.
8. She is so caring and genuinely cares how people feel.
9. When you check on her when she is sleeping, she always has a pillow on top of her head.
Yes I still check on her.
10. I could go on and on, I am so lucky to have such a sweet daughter. When I ask her how come I was so lucky to have her, she tells me that she picked me me when she was in Heaven.
Happy Birthday Jaiden!
Love you more.
