Spring Soccer

Well we just finished yet another season of spring soccer. It is one of my favorite things to watch kids do. Especially the little ones when the run in packs. I coached both of my girls teams other years but decided to just enjoy the moments and cheer from the sides. When I played soccer growing up I could hear my mom's high pitch voice above all others and swore I would never do that to my kids, but guess what... that's me. But the best part is that I always knew she was there year after year, game after game. Dad always showed up on his way home from work too.
Anyway the girls are really learning the game. Camry's team had a a real slow start and even made a few goal for the other team so I offered her $1.00 per goal and $17.00 later and a big smile on her face we ended the season. Her picture says it all. Jaiden plays striker on her team (we made the same deal with her years ago,) and no she didn't forget so we owed her plenty too. Jaiden just made a competitive soccer team called Nitro.. and loves it.

Look at that focus.

Jaiden on her Providence soccer team. Her coach got her and her friend named Jade mixed up the entire season.
